Meet the hands behind LUI
Carolyn Barth
Face. Skin. Brow. Lash.
Carolyn’s approach to skin has been shaped by an equal fascination with what can be measured and what can only be learned through experience.
Trained at the Euro Institute and Washington Laser Institute, her career developed across two distinct sides of skincare: in plastic surgery at Seattle Face & Skin, and within a clean skincare studio. Moving between the two gave her a discerning perspective. One informed by advanced modalities and skin physiology, but equally attentive to formulation, barrier health, and the nuanced work of facial massage.
Her treatments are highly considered and inherently individual. Rather than following a prescribed protocol, Carolyn works with the skin in front of her, drawing from years of observation, technique, and an understanding that meaningful results are often built over time.
LUI is an extension of that philosophy: considered, curious, and never one-size-fits-all.
Founder & Master Aesthetician
Kimjoy Giovanni
EstheticianSugar. Brow. Skin.
Kimjoy approaches her work with an appreciation for precision. The small details that can completely change how a service looks, feels, and wears over time.
A graduate of the Euro Institute, she specializes in sugaring, brows, and skin, bringing a meticulous eye and an easy warmth to services that require both trust and technique. Her approach to hair removal extends beyond the appointment itself, with careful attention to hair growth patterns, skin response, and the techniques that help minimize irritation and ingrowns over time.
Whether refining the architecture of a brow or performing a brazilian, Kimjoy’s work is deliberate without feeling overdone. The result is clean, considered, and distinctly personal to the person in front of her.
